NativityMiguel Middle School of Buffalo received 10 HP Model DC 5000 desktop computers and 10HP Model 1530 15" LCD monitors from M&T Bank. Nancy Langer, president of NativityMiguel, announced that the computers will be the focal point of the new media center at the St. Monica Campus, which serves girls in fifth to eighth grade.
Reorganization of this combined library, computer lab and assembly room was the main project of a group of students from Canisius College and St. Michael's College, Vermont, during a joint service project over their winter break.
The NativityMiguel Middle School of Buffalo provides motivated, low-income students with a strong, single gender middle school program on two campuses: St. Monica Campus for girls and St. Augustine Campus for boys. Students receive an extended school day and year and ongoing support through high-school graduation.
